After years of should we or should we not, we finally decided to take the plunge and find the perfect home to raise our 4 and 7 year old children in.We interviewed a few agents including Ghada who was recommended by a co-worker. After meeting Ghada and feeling her energy, the decision waseasy and the next day we called to start the process. To prepare for the sale of our house Ghada provided a house stager (Cindy) who was fantastic in giving us recommendations in terms of colour, art, flooring, de-cluttering etc. This kept us extremely busy for the next several weeks, and the only free time we had was when Ghada found a house for us to view. Early in the process we put together our list of "must haves" and Ghada was very quickly able to preview houses on our behalf and let us know if it was worth us visiting. This whole process certainly had its share of ups and downs with plenty of emotion. The low point was one Saturday evening when we lost out in a bidding war (Ghada, sorry we were your first loss!). The drive home was quiet but Ghada's advise was stick to the plan and that this house was obviously not meant to be. This was the consistent message from the start, and ultimately what got us through! Ghada also said she would knock on doors to find the perfect home for us and without getting into too many details, at the end of the day this is what happened. After visiting 29 houses we finally were able to find and purchase our perfect home. In terms of the sale of our house, the results speak for themselves. Listed on a Friday at the highest price ever received for our model, open houses Saturday and Sunday, followed by seven offers Monday with a firm deal at just under 110% of asking! Thank you Ghada for all you help as the results at both ends far exceeded our expectations! It is funny that with our daughter there is some anxiety with moving and changing schools, but she was happy (as well as our son) to hear we are moving to the same neighborhood as Ghada!
